History

The Royal Photographic Society, one of the world’s oldest photographic societies, was founded in 1853 to make the art and science of photography more widely available.

Fund a bursary

Our funding opportunities provide support for photographers of all ages and levels. By funding a bursary, you could help a photographer achieve more. Many of our bursary recipients cover subjects that may not otherwise be shown to the public.
