History
The Royal Photographic Society, one of the world’s oldest photographic societies, was founded in 1853 to make the art and science of photography more widely available.

Our funding opportunities provide support for photographers of all ages and levels. By funding a bursary, you could help a photographer achieve more. Many of our bursary recipients cover subjects that may not otherwise be shown to the public.

The Royal Photographic Society is a company incorporated by Royal Charter, and also a registered charity. It is regulated by the Charity Commission.
